Manchester United - Valencia Stats

  • If United keep a clean sheet it will be the first time a club has not conceded in the group phase. 
  • Valencia have failed to score in five of their seven matches against Manchester United 
  • United have lost only two of their 18 home matches against Spanish opposition - losing to Real Madrid (3-2) in 1999/2000 and Deportivo La Coruna in 2001/2002. 
  • Valencia have not lost in their last five visits to England in the CL winning one and drawing four. 
  • United have only scored two goals in their last eight against Spanish opposition but have kept seven clean sheets in those matches.
  • Since the start of last season, Valencia have lost only two of their last 19 European matches (9-8-2). These defeats came against Club Brugge (1-0) in last season’s Europa League and against Manchester United (0-1) earlier this season.
